A TABLETOP sale in support of the Community Chest has been organised at Townstal Community Hall on Sunday.

Townstal Community Partnership and Community Chest are organising the sale on Sunday, July 24, from 11am to 2pm and you can have a table for £2.

Jackie Minton, Townstal Community Partnership, said: ‘Any donations to Community Chest will be welcomed. Community Chest is a local community action group dedicated to helping those within and outside the local area.

‘Our mission is to collect and redistribute goods around our town, to help low income families and challenged individuals. Our mission is to give everybody access to basic utilities and furniture and also help the environment by stopping undamaged goods going to land fill.’
