DARTMOUTH town clerk Tracy Rowe has achieved a foundation degree in Commun­ity Engagement and Governance.

She graduated at the weekend after four years studying through a distance learning course with the University of Gloucester­shire.

She said: ‘It was a very proud moment for me and I was extremely pleased that my daughter Larissa, her fiancé Joe, my son Adam and my husband Jeff were all present for the event.

‘I decided to study for the Community Engagement and Governance degree as it was particularly relevant to my work and it has helped me to manage a range of different tasks with confidence since becoming clerk to Dartmouth Town Council in 2013.’
