THE organisers of the Rotary tabletop sale in support of the Sea Cadets last week are looking for a woman who bought some boots.

Dot Sheppard had set up the stall on Tuesday, July 19, in the Old Market in support of the Sea Cadets when a woman came and bought a pair of leather boots. ‘I had a black pair and a brown pair’, explained Dot, ‘but later on I realised that I had one of each – the lady who bought the pair must have accidentally picked up one black one and one brown one by mistake.

‘I’d like to track her down so we can reunite the pairs. She may have put them away for the winter and won’t realise the mistake until she gets them out again.’

Dot says the woman came to the stall in the early morning, quite soon after she had finished setting up the stall and would like her to get in contact so they can rectify the mistake. If you are this lady or might know who she is, call Dot on 07745 458510.
