After spending 18 months touring with Professor Brian Cox and writing his new book, I’m A Joke… and So Are You, Robin Ince returns to the stage with his first new stand up show in three years.
Expect a clash of two cultures, a joyous romp through his favourite artists and the strangest scientific ideas. From the work of Stanley Spencer to Niels Bohr, inspired by Philip K Dick, Kurt Vonnegut and others, it is 90 minutes fizzing with ideas about creativity in science and art. It asks why we believe we see what we see and why we believe what we believe.
Robin is well-known as the co-presenter of Radio 4’s ‘The Infinite Monkey Cage’ which received a Sony Radio Gold Award. He has received three ‘Chortle’ Awards as well as the ‘Francis Crick Science Journalism Award’.
A spokesman for the Flavel said: “If you enjoy being challenged and entertained go to The Flavel, Dartmouth on on Monday, November 27 at 8pm for “An evening so bursting with energy and ideas…it’s a bundle of fascinating, surprising digressions” according to The Times review.”
