In common with many others in the town, I have now written to the solicitor at Devon County Council protesting at their recent proposals for parking.

There appears to be a mounting swell of anger in the town at these proposals which seem to make no sense – except as a possible money-making exercise.

Is this the thin edge of the wedge before they bring back pay-and-display?

I do hope many townspeople will write in and Devon County Council realise the error of their ways in short order.
