Big-hearted artists and art lovers have run up a record amount for a Dartmouth 'post card' fund raising effort now in its 12th year.

Some 50 gallery artists from all over the country donated their postcard size original art work for the annual charity push organised by Paul and Brenda Reach of Dartmouth D'Art Gallery.

Normally the event raises up to £3,500 for various local charities as art lovers buy tickets for the chance of walking away with one of the mini art works.
