Come down and claim your brick on Dartmouth and Kingswear Hospital.

The Women of Dartmouth and District group are continuing its protest against the closure of the hospital by encouraging the community to come and sign a brick of the hospital wall.

The group commented: “Please come down and claim your brick for your family or a loved one.”

Throughout the last two weeks, the group has been chaining themselves to the hospital barriers in protest.

Taking it in turns, starting on Monday, July 9, the group has ensured someone is chained to the hospital from the early hours of the morning to late at night.

The group has received support from other local groups fighting hospital closure including Save Our Hospital South West.

To ensure no damage is made to the historic hospital building, the group is using non toxic children’s chalk which will wash off with water and cause no damage.
