“Is anyone happy with progress on the Neighbourhood Plan” asked Peter Goldstraw, a Dartmouth resident who had contacted Dartmouth Town Council, concerned about progress.

Deputy Mayor, Councillor Tony Fyson said: “Nobody is satisfied with progress in the last 10 months. We are looking to re-invigorate the plan.

“We have registered our protest about being in the bottom righthand corner of the amorphous area in the Joint Development Plan and need to move our Neighbourhood Plan forward.

“I do remind the public that the council is the responsible authority for this plan. It has to satisfy the 16 people in this room. There is a one vote referendum, after it has been approved by the council.”

The council planning committee will hold a meeting on the Neighbourhood Plan which will be open to the public at 6pm on Wednesday June 28th.
