Christine Henry, of Sandquay Road, Dartmouth, writes: Dartmouth is certainly on the map when it comes to hosting and supporting cultural events. Last Saturday evening, for instance, not only was the Flavel sold out for the hugely popular folk duo of Philip Henry and Hannah Martin, but St Saviour's Church nearby also had a large and appreciative audience for a performance of Mozart's Coronation Mass, given jointly by the Britannia Choral Society and Dartmouth Orchestra. Many of the attendees to these two events will have driven into Dartmouth from all over the South Hams. Are we to suppose that this will continue to be the case if evening parking charges were to be introduced?
