I was sorry to read the criticisim of our town councillors for not attending the Any Questions entertainment event at the Flavel with a well-known televisison personality.

We know that several councillors were at work and another attending a fundraising event to support safety on the river.

If the critics bothered to attend council meetings, their questions would be answered during the time set aside for that purpose.

The councillors give a considerable amount of their time, for no payment, to run our town. I suggest those who are not satisfied with their performance come forward for election and find out for themselves how much work is involved.
