I wish those clever, resourceful and time-rich people who put so much energy into preventing houses being built, would devote some effort into finding places for affordable homes.

We will all, at some time in our lives, need local nurses, care staff, mechanics, plumbers, builders, carpenters, firemen, police officers, teachers, etc. They just need a place to live.
