I'd like to apologise to anyone who thought we were going to be collecting for CLIC Sargent at Tesco last Sunday. Due to a set of unfortunate circumstances we discovered we were double booked.

Tesco had their own in-store collection for Diabetes which was running nationally and would have been difficult to change. They were very helpful and apologetic and have given us a choice of any other day.

We will now be collecting on Friday, January 31, which in fact will be very much better than last Sunday which was likely to be quiet following the busy Saturday on Fore Street.

Thank you to the couple of people who did manage to contribute early on and your contributions will be added to the new collection.

The team are all fired up to get the silly hats out again in the New Year when all the turkey has been eaten and the stores are gearing up for Easter!
