Town based law firm has raised over one thousand pounds for charity.
Wollen Michelmore, which has an office in Dartmouth has raised £1,108.07 for the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, SANDS thanks to a mixture of World Cup football and cakes.
A raffle at a recent World Cup football event for local businesses together with staff donations and a cake sale helped the law firm raise money for charity.
SANDS operates throughout the UK, supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby, working to improve the care bereaved parents receive and promoting research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
Associate solicitor, Amanda Harvey said: “We see all too often the heartbreak and suffering of those affected by stillbirth and neonatal death and are only too glad that we can signpost clients to SANDS for much needed practical support at their time of need.
“We hope to do what we can to raise more money for this great cause in the future and certainly, we can always be sure of a good response to our cake sales.”
