With regard to last week's front page story, 'Regatta alcohol ban call', why doesn't Johnny Chick do us all a favour and plan to go away during next year's regatta week. Then maybe we won't have to read another article about him complaining about how disgusted and fed up he is with it.

He got a front page last year, complaining about the tourists. This year he gets the front page again, by complaining about alcohol and the regatta.

I really think there are more newsworthy stories you could have put on your front page.

A lot of people and organisations have put in a lot of time and effort to make it a success on both sides of the river.

Maybe your front page article could have been one thanking everyone for their hard work, instead of someone complaining.
