Ivybridge is making preparations for Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The event will take place between June 2 and 5 making it a four-day weekend.

On the Saturday June 4 from 10am to 2pm the Town Council will be celebrating with a fete in the town centre, including a street party, market, plus lots of entertainment and music.

They are promoting events around the town over the weekend, and will be coordinating a timetable of events so that all activity is complementary and doesn’t clash with similar events.

If you are considering doing something yourself you are asked to let the Town Council know so they can include it in their timetable of events to be published in a special souvenir programme and via social media.
