Just a small thing, but irritating nonetheless.
My eye spotted two things in last week's Chronicle that 'jumped' off the page for all the wrong reasons.
Page 9: The suspected shoplifter in the act of dropping his pants, did not discommode the woman staff member, apparently ...'it did not phase her too much...'
I think the word should be 'faze' – disconcert, perturb or disorientate.
Secondly, in your piece about Mr Cameron and the Eccles cake, I think you will find 'caricature' does not require an 'h'.
Sorry to be picky, but it's what I do without realising it may aggravate.
