FRANCES HARPLEY, of Wentworth Close, Fornham St Martin, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, writes: While researching my family history I found among my late father's paperwork a letter dated December 1998 written by a Mrs Muriel Turner ­referring to her husband Wallace and son Terry. The address quoted is 190 Victoria Road, Dartmouth TQ6 9EL, which tallies with details in his address book. Muriel is believed to be a cousin of my father, Richard George Peters, her mother being sister to his father Albert, who was born in Blagdon Barton, one of a family of five or six. I should be most grateful if any member of the family named would contact me to let me know if they are able to help me fill in at least some of the many gaps I have in trying to form a chain.
