The Dartmouth Health Care Action Group is holding a fund raising event next week.

On Monday, August 20, the campaign group which is working for improved health services in Dartmouth and the surrounding villages is holding an event in the Royal Avenue Gardens.

Throughout the day, from 9.30am to 4pm, members of the group will be on hand to give updates on the progress made so far and to answer questions.

The group has also asked residents to hear about people’s experiences of healthcare in the area since the closure of Dartmouth Hospital.

Over the last few months, the group has been meeting regularly to discuss the healthcare available in the town and to try to campaign for intermediate care beds in the town.
