I read with interest in the paper recently that Devon County Council is 'rolling' out a programme of health checks for 40 to 74 year olds.

Today, I shall be 76.

I have definately passed my 'Best before date' and its debateable whether I have passed my 'use by date', but have I really? passed my 'sell by date' i.e., worthy of a health check?
