A 63-year-old man claims he was left in his damp flat for days after his social landlords refused to find him somewhere else to live after his home flooded.
Peter Bosworth's flat in Churchill Court, Victoria Road, Dartmouth, flooded just after the New Year when a shower pipe burst in his bathroom while he was away.
Mr Bosworth, who is diabetic and has severe mobility problems, returned home on January 4 to find that town firefighters had been forced to break into his one bedroom flat following the flood which, he claims, left carpets and bedding soaking wet.
