COMPETITION was fierce as six crews battled it out in the final of the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta men’s open on Friday morning.

The winners in the green boat were the Dolphin - Paul Cheswas, Carlos Minto, Chris Gale and Jon Pope with Sarah Flint, co, followed by the Sportsman’s Arms in second place and Compass Marine in third.
