FOUR Dartmouth Karate Club students had cause to celebrate after making the grade at recent examinations.
Dan Curtis passed 1st Kyu and gains a brown-and-white belt; Jessica Brock succeeded at the 9th Kyu level and is now an orange belt; Adam Denley passed 8th Kyu and gains a red belt, as did Matthew Houghton.
The fab four were examined by Andy Sherry, 8th Dan and senior instructor at the Karate Union of Great Britain.
Dartmouth Karate Club train at Dartmouth Leisure Centre on Sundays between 10.30am and noon, and also on Wednesdays between 6.30pm and 8pm.
