Christine Smither, of Church Road, Dartmouth, writes:
Dougal, my bichon frise, has been featured twice in the last two weeks of this paper and feels be has become quite famous.
Dougal would like to say that he has been sent on a course to protect himself in the future.
He can now growl, bark loudly and jump higher than most dogs – obviously so as his grandfather was a court jester!!
Now when walking peacefully in Dartmouth – on a lead and harness – he can protect himself from any little dogs that attack him as his owner has a large stick that can propel said agressive dog into the air so the aliens can snatch it away not only from Dougal but the many other dogs which have been attacked.
