Paul Quest, of Duke Street, Dartmouth, writes:

Having been assured by members of the Dart Harbour and Navigation Authority that the best way to raise issues was to attend the regular pubic meetings, I was disappointed to read about the friction at the recent annual general meeting which unfortunately I was unable to attend.

I would like to point out that there are several stakeholder groups that hold regular meetings with the harbour authority.

I chair the Dartmouth Leisure Boat Owners Association, an organisation that seeks to represent leisure boat owners who do not belong to one of the larger marinas.

We currently have nearly 40 members.

Our website is http://www.dlboa">www.dlboa. co.uk.

Membership is free and we would welcome new members.

The only condition is that you must have a mooring on the Dart.
