Mrs Pritchard-Williams was born and raised in Brixham, attending Dartmouth Secondary School, now Dartmouth Academy, from the age of 11. Mrs Pritchard-Williams said: “I am delighted to return to the town where I learned so much.”
Mrs Pritchard-Williams spent twenty years living and working in London, gaining a degree in Contemporary Media Practice from the University of Westminster and going on to work in production for TV and online before leaving full-time work to raise her children and run a small photographic business.
She moved with her family to Somerset 8 years ago, where she first developed an interest in the work of parish and town councils, working as Clerk for several parishes and as an assistant and web manager for Wells City Council, revitalising their website and training others in its maintenance.
Currently in the midst of a move back to the area, Mrs Pritchard-Williams is hugely excited to take on the role of Clerk to Dartmouth Town Council, and to continue the work of the departing Clerk, Tracy Rowe.
Mrs Pritchard-Williams said: “I have very happy memories of catching the passenger ferry to school every day. I never imagined I’d be returning to this wonderful town as its Clerk. I can’t wait to get to know the community and help make Dartmouth even more special.”
