REGISTRATION is now open for Rowcroft Hospice’s 1980s-themed Sleep Walk, taking place on Saturday, July 9.

All Dartmouth Chronicle readers who sign up online before Monday, February 29, will receive a discount to enter.

They will be charged £12 instead of the usual £15 full ticket price.

Last year’s event saw several groups in the town sign up for the big charity girls’ night out.

The popular event has sold out in record time for the last two years running.

Daniel Robson, Rowcroft’s events manager, said: ‘This year’s walk promises to be a night to remember with laughter, music, friends and some amazing 80’s surprises along the way.’

There is a choice of routes of either five or ten mile that start and finish at Torbay Leisure Centre.

Rowcroft’s inpatient unit manager Sue Harvey said: ‘The Sleep Walk is an amazing event that sees thousands of ladies, volunteers, local businesses and Rowcroft staff members come together to support families across South Devon who are facing life-limiting illnesses and need our help.

‘Every penny you raise will help us to support local families in your town to make the most of every day they have together. Our fundraising total from all Sleep Walks over the last five years stands at £863,252, please help us reach that amazing £1m target in 2016.’

Register for The Sleep Walk 2016 and claim your early bird discount by entering the code DMC16 when registering online at www.rowcroftsleepwalk.org.uk.

Alternatively, ladies over 18-years-old can register for free by agreeing to make a regular monthly donation to the hospice.
