Dartmouth Mayflower 400 website is up and runningThe website was described by a spokesman for Mayflower400 as “full of detail on the exciting projects and events that we have planned for 2020.

“It includes a description of the voyage of the Mayflower back in 1620.

“It tells why this was such an important event in history and why it is significant now.

”Full details of who is involved in the Dartmouth Mayflower organisation are shown and its links with the National and International Mayflower 400 organisations.

“This is a project that will benefit and involve the whole town, not just for 2020, but for many years to come.

“We would like to hear from anyone who feels that they could spare a few hours each week and may be able to make a contribution, but right now we are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has had previous experience of financial management, or fundraising and bid writing.

“We are also pleased to announce that we have just sent out our first email newsletter, one of a series of updates that will be sent out on a regular basis.

“This is the first place that new projects will be announced, and anyone interested in receiving updates on our exciting plans can sign up on the website to receive future newsletters.”

Dartmouth Mayflower 400 is run by a group of volunteers with support from Dartmouth Town Council. If you would like to become involved, please go to the website www.dartmouthmayflower400.uk for details.
