CHOCOLATE makes people happy.

A giant Easter egg made by Dartmouth French bakery Saveurs has been enjoyed by children on the Louisa Cary ward at Torbay Hospital.

It was donated by a Dartmouth couple who won the chocolate delight, weighing 20kg, in a draw.

The egg was made by Julien Picamil, who runs Saveurs with his wife, Guylaine, and was on display in the shop window in Victoria Road during the lead up to Easter.

‘A retired couple from Dartmouth were the lucky winners and asked us to donate the egg so we called Torbay Hospital and the Louisa Cary children’s ward was delighted to accept it,’ said Guylaine.

The draw also raised £314 for the Cancer Research UK charity.
