I have known Cllr Gina Coles for fully two decades and I have to say that I admire her tenacity, bravery and honesty.
She has overcome bereavement and disability and has one sincere aim in life, which is to help others as best as she is able.
It’s not easy in Dartmouth, which can at times be fantastic or sadly can also be pickled in spite, reverse snobbery and petty jealousy.
I have no idea of the issue over Woofstock, as our dog prefers boating and sailing to the stress and rigours of dog shows.
So, after an excellent cup of tea on the park we went for a sail, yet again, around the so very beautiful Start Bay.
Regatta is almost upon us and we should be pulling together to show what there is to enjoy about our town and our way of life, so why then do we need pick up on alleged conversations and publish what was only a throwaway comment so as to decry those hard-working others in the media?
So, I will say it even if others won’t – “thanks Gina”.
