It's only a thought but, why don't we build a barrier across the estuary at Snapes Point.

We could generate electricity on an incoming and an outgoing tide.

There could be more water available for boating during the summer, just by closing the barrier for the school holidays and regatta weeks.

The estuary could become a fantastic circular cycle route, by building a couple of short roads.

We would get more visitors to the area staying localy and using the pubs and restaurants.
