Dartmouth Community Chest is once again offering Christmas dinner for anyone who would be on their own or without during the festive season.

The charitable organisation which helps low income families or people struggling in the local area is providing a free lunch on Christmas Day.

If you would like to join, Dartmouth Community Chest will be holding the event at Townstal Community Hall on Davis Road from 10am to 4pm on Christmas Day. Lifts will be available for anyone who needs them.

To donate something for the community lunch or spend the day at the community hall please contact the group at [email protected], on the Dartmouth Community Chest Facebook group or on 07496 349234.

To help raise money for the Christmas lunch, Dartmouth Community Chest is selling cards designed by local children.

Each card will cost £5 and this will pay for someone to spend Christmas Day with the charitable organisation. The cards are available from all the local churches, St Johns Primary School and the Tourist Information Centre.
