LOUISE CHRISTENSEN, of Charlottes Web, Old Market Square, Dartmouth, writes:

As a new market trader in Dartmouth's Old Market Square, I am annoyed and upset – to put it mildly – at the rather cavalier attitude of the council. All talk and no action should be there new motto!

I have been open every day since last July and have sat through a dismal winter in an unfinished, under-promoted and unpainted market square.

Why don't the councillors stop cogitating and discussing and get their fingers out.

Those shops which are not open and not finished need dealing with. The market needs promoting and organising if anyone is ever going to take it seriously.

After spending so much money, don't they owe it to the town to take some action and actually make a decision?

I am more than annoyed at the council's approach to problems and am sick of being tainted with the same brush as those traders who are abusing their leases.

Less talking and more action councillors, that's what we all need from you lot!
