DARTMOUTH Town Council will consider a sensitive business plan presented by the town’s tourist information centre in private session before making any decision on giving it financial support.

But following discussions with the Chronicle it has been agreed to hold any subsequent grant discussions in open debate.

Town clerk Tracy Rowe said an addendum would be made to the agenda for Monday’s full council meeting at the Guildhall from 7pm.

Other items on Monday’s agenda include a presentation by Dartmouth Pre-school on the redevelopment of its Southford Road premises; South Hams Council’s policy for parking permits on South Embankment; and setting the town’s part of next year’s council tax.
