Mike Dodsworth, of Swallowfield, Stoke Fleming, writes: It is rare to see two letters in the same edition so full of common sense as those from Messrs Dowden and Howell in last week's Chronicle. However, I fear that as long as the X64 is run by Stagecoach and the 93 by First, the connectivity Mr Dowden rightly desires is unlikely to be achieved. As for the 4G coverage desired by Mr Howell, as a newcomer to Stoke Fleming, I would settle for being able to pick up even a text message without having to drive halfway to Dartmouth, but I agree with him that if such masts are to be erected, they should be equipped with the latest technology at that time. Perhaps our local MP could exercise some influence on both matters?
