The other teams just rolled over as the BRNC Officer Cadets took honours in the Barrel Rolling at the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta.

The BRNC were well-represented in the Barrel Rolling Race. Three teams of four had to roll a beer barrel up and down the course to complete 200 yards. In one heat there were two BRNC teams, ensuring that the final was BRNC versus the team from the Dart Marina. The Dart Marina team had a poor start but recovered strongly until they lost control of their barrel as it veered off towards the Boatfloat to allow the BRNC team to win by 5 yards.
