Dartmouth Sea Cadets received an array of awards at the annual awards evening.

The awards evening was held on the quarterdeck of the Britannia Royal Naval College on Friday November 2.

Captain of the BRNC, Jol Woodard presented the awards to the cadets, supported by their families. Dartmouth town was represented by the deputy mayor Fred Pritchard-Tagg and his consort.

The Sea Cadets are currently holding their twice-weekly parades in the college grounds since structural weaknesses were identified in the roof of a building adjoining the existing sea cadet unit headquarters.

During this interim period the cadets and staff have said they have been very fortunate to have great support from the college authorities.
