The Parish of Dartmouth look forward, to once again extending a welcome to the Annual Advent Fair which this year will be held on Saturday, December 2, in St Saviour’s Church.
A spokesman for the church said: “Come out of the cold and browse in the warm to find some bargains from the stalls displaying Christmas decorations, toys, books, gifts and yummy home-made cakes.
“Buy a lucky raffle ticket and have a go on the tombola, the table top competitions and guess the weight of the Christmas Cake. Refreshments will be available on the gallery, where freshly brewed coffee, tea, fresh sandwiches and a selection of home-made cakes will complete the visit.
“The Fair will be opened at 10.00m. Remember, it is the early bird who catches the worm.
“It is not yet the Christmas season in the Church Calendar, but we are at the beginning of Advent, the time of waiting, waiting to welcome the joy of Christmas morning and when that comes, A Happy Christmas to you all.”
