Meet the crew and see the yacht Moonspray on Dartmouth’s Town Pontoon on Saturday, August 12th from 1pm to 4pm; it’s open boat.

Eight young people in recovery from cancer sailed into Dartmouth at sunset last night on Moonspray, a 44ft sailing yacht.

Moonspray is on the River Dart at Town Jetty Pontoon at the end of the latest leg of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust’s epic four-month Round Britain 2017 sailing challenge. The crew invite the public to come, meet the crew and see the yacht.

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust rebuilds confidence after cancer. They use sailing to support, empower and inspire young people between the ages of 8-24 in embracing their futures following the devastation of illness and treatment. The trust aims to rebuild young people’s confidence through positive, shared experiences.

The Dartmouth welcome to the crew can be a huge part of this experience. Be part of their adventure and go say hello.
