Students' horror stories to be published in new collection

By Chris Derrick in Education

KINGSBRIDGE Community College’s girls’ creative writing club, INKs are having their short stories published in a new collection, ‘Spine Chillers - West Country’.

The club have recently been exploring the realms of horror and radio drama, and meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

It is hoped that their collection of stories will soon be available in the school library and will inspire other young writers.

A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Community College said: ‘The recent success with the young writers competition has opened their eyes to the challenging yet rewarding world of publishing.

‘They look forward to entering their next writing competition.’
